Fête and Dog Show 2019

Hope Bagot Village Fête and Dog Show is a popular annual event with visitors from across the midlands. This year it was held on Sunday 26th May (Bank Holiday weekend) between 2pm and 5pm.

The event was held on land behind the vintage Village Hall (in which tea and other refreshments were served) and featured:

  • The popular Dog Show - enjoyed by all participants (including humans!) and kindly sponsored by Pets at Home (Ludlow).

  • Plant stall with a wide range of garden plants and herbs (scarecrows Rosie and Jim helped on this)

  • Children's activities

    • Face Paints

    • Coconut shy

    • Skittles

    • Lucky dip

    • Splat the rat (just a game!)

  • Tenbury Teme Valley Band brought a bit of oompah! to the event with their fabulous repertoire

  • Ludlow Larks singing in both the church and the rectory grounds was superb

  • Classic prestige cars kindly presented by Professor Rev John Kennedy

  • Tombola

  • Raffle

  • Bric-a-brac

  • Books

  • Quality previously loved clothes

  • Brilliant weather!

  • and with the open gardens of the neighbouring rectory there was something for everyone.
